The BZFlag developers are not so proud to announce the release of BZFlag 2.0.10 “Never Say Never”. This version contains some bug fixes for newer hardware ( dual core, and 64 bit machines). We recommend that all users and server owners upgrade to it as soon as possible. The release has only a small number of new features, Please see the change log for details. Binary versions as well as the source code can be found on the sourceforge.net download system.

April Fools Fun: WZFlag - March 31, 2007, 9:34 PM by SeanM
It was reported on April 1st that BZFlag was in the process of merging with Warzone 2100 and that BZFlag would subsequently be renamed to WZFlag as a result of the merger. This was, of course, merely an April Fool's joke. Thank you to the Warzone 2100 folks for suggesting and collaborating on the effort (and yes, those were mostly real screenshots and a real client).

Subversion - March 29, 2007, 9:23 AM by JeffM
The BZFlag developers have changed the source control system for the project, from the previous CVS system, over to Subversion. This change offers us many new features in managing the code and will be indispensable in the upcoming Google Summer of Code. Information on the new Subversion (SVN) system can be found on our wiki, at http://my.bzflag.org/w/BZFlag_SVN The CVS system is still operational in read only mode, to assist developers in converting to the SVN system, but it will not receive any new commits.
